Danielle and Dillon’s wedding day at the Olde Mill Inn was something special. They somehow managed to have a wedding day that felt polished and well planned, but in a way that was the opposite of stuffy and pretentious.
I can always appreciate a couple who spends their wedding day just how they want to and that was definitely Danielle and Dillon.
The day started at the hotel on premises, we walked over for the ceremony, and afterward, the reception was just steps away. What could be simpler than that? It was a completely stress-free, go with the flow kind of wedding, which I loved!
Wedding Party Portraits
Danielle told me a few months before the wedding that she bought her gown online at ASOS so I was very excited to see how the look would come together! She bought 4 different dresses before she landed on her final pick and it did not disappoint.
As for her flowers, Danielle chose a wild combination of roses, protea, peace lily, and some other fun fall textures. All together it felt very unique and whimsical. Speaking of fun details, Danielle gave Dillon the cutest robot pin to wear on his lapel! In turn, Dillon gave each of his groomsmen a special pin to wear too.
The Ceremony | Olde Mill Inn
Danielle & Dillon’s wedding ceremony was held in the garden at the Olde Mill Inn. They wrote their own vows to each other, which had everyone laughing and crying at the same time! Danielle and Dillon decided not to do a first look and I think it was worth it just to see Dillon’s expression when she walked down the aisle.
The Reception | Olde Mill Inn
The ballroom at the Olde Mill Inn opens up to a patio so the guests could mingle in between eating and jumping onto the dance floor. Since the weather was absolutely perfect on their wedding day, guests got to enjoy the best of both worlds as the reception went on. Danielle and Dillon are so much fun and their families were so much fun! Their reception was the perfect lighthearted, easygoing atmosphere.
Danielle and Dillon have great chemistry and an amazing sense of humor and their wedding day felt true to who they are as a couple.
Danielle & Dillon, thank you so much for inviting me to be a part of your wedding day! I loved getting to spend more time with you guys. I hope you had the world’s best road-trip out west!!
