Becca & Colin became husband and wife on a glowing October afternoon with falling leaves and folk music. I feel like I’ve been saying it all year, but even though it wasn’t their Plan A, it couldn’t’ve been more perfect.

I love the symbolism of getting married in the backyard of your childhood home. It’s one chapter closing and another just beginning. Also, as far as backyards go, Becca’s backyard was pretty magical. I like to think the dreams and fairytales of her younger years were met at the altar, under giant trees that afternoon.

Next year when they can celebrate in a bigger way, we’ll be celebrating nearly a year of their happily ever after!
