Holly and Eric’s wedding at Warner Road Farm- my goodness guys! This was a total South Jersey wedding and I loved every second of it. On the most perfect day in April, Holly and Eric said yes to forever in the old Sharptown Church, which has some special history for them, and celebrated with their family and friends at the Warner Road Barn in Pilesgrove.
The Warner Road Farm is a new venue, so I’d never worked there before, but I was really impressed! The inside was dressed in string lights and rustic details. Also, uplighting in a barn- I didn’t know that was a thing, but I liked it.
I’m always a fan of farmhouse tables, so I appreciated the beautiful wooden tables and chairs they had set up for the guests. A Garden Party created these amazing purple centerpieces with spring tulips and bluebells tucked in. Holly and Eric’s wedding somehow managed to feel really elegant while still being cozy and laidback.
Knowing so many couples and getting to see so many brides and grooms on their wedding days, I can tell when couples break the mold. Holly and Eric were definitely one of those couples.
For their wedding portrait session, we got to wander around the natural beauty of the Warner Road Farm property and explore the fields and a clearing in the woods. Holly and I were hoping there would be some green peeping out so we were happy to see green grass and little touches of green starting to appear in the trees. Holly and Eric are fun by themselves, but when they’re together they have such a great chemistry. The two personalities together made their portrait session a lot of fun.
They’re so lovable together. I don’t know how else to describe it!
Not to mention, they’re just generally thoughtful and generous people. Even though it was their wedding day, I couldn’t help but notice Holly and Eric’s concern for others.
From Holly sewing a button on a dress for her bridesmaid to taking care of her grandparents, and checking in with their guests and thanking them, you can tell that they make a habit of thinking of others before themselves.
Sometimes you can just tell when a couple has what it takes to build a lasting marriage. Their faith, their love for others, and their lightheartedness make them a good team and I know those same qualities will serve them well in their married life together.
Holly & Eric, thank you so much for inviting me to capture your wedding day! I loved getting to know the two of you and your families. God bless your marriage and your life together in the years ahead!
