Donna & Bob’s winter wedding at Terrain at Styers in Glen Mills, PA was a beautiful, joyful gathering of family and friends in the most intimate and festive setting. First of all, you can never go wrong with a wedding at Terrain; It always feels so cozy and warm and the events they put on there are always just as stylish as you would expect. For Donna & Bob’s wedding, they chose to add little hints of wintery Christmas colors in the girls’ dresses as well as the flowers they were carrying. The tables at the reception featured little bottles and evergreen sprigs, which combined with the fairy lights and candles made the whole room sparkle.

I photographed Donna’s daughter Dawn’s wedding last fall, so it was great to see the whole crew again almost a year later. From my conversations with Donna, the one thing that stuck out above everything else was her and Bob’s love for their family and how important it was for them to spend the day celebrating with them. Their family portrait list was probably the simplest one I’ve ever done: Everybody together. No his side or her side, just everyone together. I think that sums up this wedding pretty perfectly. The love Donna and Bob have for each other and the love their family and friends have for them was so evident.

I love it when couples can focus on what’s important and have their heart in the right place going into a wedding day. After a wedding like this, I always feel so thankful for the kind of people I get to work with and the celebrations I get to be a part of.
