It started as a romance that began 15 years ago in Brazil. In the years between, they built a life together, a home and an amazing family. Watching Fabiane and Wesley celebrate their wedding at the Madison in Riverside was so neat because it’s not the beginning of their story but the chapters that have already been written are so beautiful. Seeing the regard and affection they have for each other and their family was really touching.

The ceremony was held in the arched sanctuary of Saint Peter’s Church in Riverside where their friends and family celebrated their union before God. From the singing to the sacraments, the service was beautiful.

Afterward, we went down by the river where there’s a pretty overlook to do a few portraits. Although hours before the forecast was thunderstorms, the clouds dissolved and the sun peeked through over the water just as we got started. Between the grand trees and glittering water, it couldn’t’ve been more perfect.

The wedding reception was held in the ballroom at the Madison in Riverside, which was decked out in white and pink flowers and featured the most beautiful cake and dessert display I’ve ever seen. One of my favorite moments of the night was seeing the special messages their loved ones recorded for their wedding day. Since not everyone could make it from Brazil, Fabiane and Wes smiled and shed a few tears watching their loved ones projected in the ballroom, sending their blessings.

I think every vendor who was there said it, but Fabiane and Wesley are incredibly sweet, and so is their family. Knowing that this day was a long time in the making makes me happy it all came together so perfectly. Even though the entire day was in Portuguese, I don’t remember it that way. The love and sentiments went beyond words.

Fabiane and Wes, thank you for inviting me to capture your wedding day! I loved getting to know you and your family. Wishing all of you many more wonderful years together!
