Sierra and Brad celebrated their wedding at Melhorn Manor this summer and I could not have been more excited to see their wedding day vision finally come to life!

One of my favorite silver linings in this year of disruption is that I have gotten to spend even more time with my wedding couples. What a joy it was to get to hang out with Sierra and Brad for their engagement and wedding ceremony AND get to celebrate their wedding with them again all within a few months.

Wedding Party Portraits

They thought I was kidding when I told them they were hands down the most enthusiastic bridal party I’ve ever met. Well here it is in writing, these girls were absolutely the most enthusiastic bridesmaids ever! (The guys were pretty fun too ;)) I had so much fun exploring the grounds of Melhorn Manor with the wedding party and they were such a dream to work with!

Ceremony | Melhorn Manor

Sierra and Brad’s wedding ceremony was held in the courtyard near the barn at Melhorn Manor. I love that they choose to do their ceremony and read their vows in front of this crowd of witnesses. The people you invite to your wedding aren’t just there to cheer you on; they’re also the people who are supposed to hold you accountable in keeping your vows!

Portraits

If you asked them how they got to be such naturals in front of the camera, they might tell you it’s because this is their third go around at it this year. But, I have to disagree. Practice or not, Sierra and Brad are pretty dang photogenic any way you slice it! I love that they have these dressed up, elegant wedding portraits in addition to simple and sweet wedding portraits from the day they got married.

Reception | Melhorn Manor

After the ceremony, guests moved inside for the wedding reception in the barn at Melhorn. Sierra’s mom arranged to have an amazing violinist play during dinner, which had to be one of the most memorable moments of the night! At the end of the night everyone gathered outside in the warm summer air to do a sparkler send off. We had been talking about the sparklers from Day 1 so I love that it went off without a hitch, picture perfect!

Sierra and Brad, congratulations again on the start of your married life together! May your marriage be a blessing to you and the people around you. I hope this season is full of sweet newlywed memories. <3
