This isn’t their wedding date. The dress she picked out, the flowers she chose, the venue they toured, even the people they invited- all that stuff isn’t here. The coronavirus has stripped weddings back to the bare bones, or maybe just back to the glowing covenant core. This pandemic has changed a lot of things, but the joining of two people hasn’t. Maybe the optics have changed, the settings, the celebrations, but the promises at the center remain.

With their plans for their wedding day interrupted, Sierra and Brad joined their lives together in a heartfelt outdoor ceremony, in the sight of God, surrounded by a handful of witnesses. It was a special privilege to bear witness to their wedding ceremony and I can’t wait to celebrate with them in a big way later this year!
