Kellie and Aaron’s intimate wedding was what dreams are made of! Seriously, when I envisioned my wedding day, it looked like this- Backyard wedding, garden bouquets, homemade details..
This wonderful wedding pulled off in a few week whirlwind was totally perfect. Her delicate lace gown, touches of lavender, open fields, cottage gardens.. English countryside vibes for sure!
The ceremony took place in the backyard of her childhood home; The small group of witnesses gathered were close friends and family, church members and neighbors.
Bringing their wedding day to life was a community effort. Plants from the local nursery, chairs from the church, a borrowed arch for the ceremony. My mom even made centerpieces with things she found in her garden. (When I got married 5 years ago, Kellie’s mom helped us with florals for our centerpieces so it was cool to see that come full circle!)
When you plan a wedding that way, there’s love and warmth in the all the details.
I’m so glad to have been there on the day their marriage began and I can’t wait to celebrate this milestone again with Kellie and Aaron next year!
