When Kelly told their inspiration for her and Scott’s Ocean City engagement session, I could totally picture it especially because Kelly herself is a total beach girl.

We went on the Ferris Wheel, got ice cream, strolled along the beach at sunset.. I know so romantic. I get asked along to be a third wheel on dates like this all the time, but I love it! It always turns out to be a really fun time and when you’ve got stuff planned, it becomes more of an event.

We soaked up the last drops of summer on the perfectly balmy engagement session in Ocean City. Golden hour is such a perfect time to shoot and their wardrobe really lent itself to those sunset colors.

The last time Kelly and Scott were in front of my camera it was 20 degrees outside, so this was a definite improvement! Whatever the weather, the two of them are so much fun to be around.

Before we know we’ll be doing this again at their wedding next summer!
