These newborn sessions are a little pause button on today. They're a time capsule of the beautiful, fleeting and sometimes hectic hours of babyhood.

1+ hour session in your home

Booking

Families typically get in touch a few months before their baby is due to arrive. I only take on a certain amount of clients per month, so once your contract is signed, your spot is reserved!

preparing for your session

Life isn't always picture perfect in those first few weeks of babyhood, and that's ok! I encourage families to pick the corners of their home with the most welcoming light, and not to worry too much about having everything just so. Wear clothes that feel good and look comfortable for you and your baby.

the day of

In preparation for our session, families will try to fit in one last good feed before we start. Sometimes things go to plan, and sometimes they don't! We work at the pace of your baby with plenty of rocking, feeding, changing and soothing breaks. Most of our poses include you so that your baby feels most at home.

The more the merrier

Whether you have older siblings or grandparents who are going to be present for your session, I welcome everyone to join in. Documenting the family bonds of this special milestone make for some of my favorite images. And, they become part of the bigger story of your baby's arrival into the fold.

your gallery

When your photo gallery is complete, it gets uploaded to an online gallery for you to share with your friends and family. From there, you can download images and order prints and photo products. Galleries are up indefinitely so you can access them from your phone any time.
