I fell in love with photography, especially film photography, as a means to capture both the moment and the feeling of being in it. My favorite moments are the in-between interactions and expressions that you can't script.
I have been married for nearly 10 years now, so I've had the experience of watching my own wedding photos become more and more valuable through the years. They're part of a story I tell my kids and a monument to all the love in my life.

My earliest love was not weddings or even photography, but documenting. I’m a lifelong, painter, journaler, sketcher, and scrapbooker.
On my wedding day, I remember walking down the aisle crying tears of joy, dancing through fields at sunset and being so overwhelmed with happiness that we were finally getting married.
Our wedding was just a handful of hours, but it lives large in our memories. I'll be thinking about that day until my last and when the edges of my memory get fuzzy, I'm so happy to have photos that capture all that joy for us to experience again.
