Frequently asked questions

1. Do I own the photos?

Yes! Your wedding photos are YOURS. When your photos are delivered to you, you receive the high resolution images as well as the print release. You're allowed to share, download, print and post your photos as much as you want.

2. How are the photos delivered/how many are delivered?

You receive your wedding gallery online! You can visit and revisit your gallery and share the gallery link with your friends and family. You'll receive around 700-900 images depending on the schedule of the day and number of photographers.

3. Do I need a second photographer?

It depends! For some couples, I strongly recommend hiring one, for others, not so much! At the end of the day, it's always going to be your decision, but I'd love to hear more about your wedding day and what you're looking for so I can give you a recommendation.

4. How much time do I need?

For almost everyone, 8 hours will be a perfect amount of time. 8 hours usually covers getting ready photos through until about 2-3 hours into the reception. People who want more hours typically have an extended timeline that includes a long ceremony or mass and a lot of travel time in between places, or people who want coverage until the very end of the night.

5. How much do you charge for wedding photography?

Full 8 Hour wedding coverage starts at $2850. Special consideration is given to destination or small, intimate wedding days.

6. Do you offer engagement sessions?

I do! All of my packages include engagement sessions because I love getting to know my couples ahead of time. Because they're complimentary (and because I really just want to get to know you!), I do not offer discounted packages if you wish to not have one done.

7. Do you charge sales tax?

Yes! Sales tax is built into the pricing of my packages, so the price you see is the final price.

8. Do you charge travel fees?

For weddings within 2 hours of me, I do not charge travel fees. For engagement sessions, depending on the type of engagement session and the distance, travel fees may apply. For Simple Engagement sessions, they must be scheduled within 30 minutes of Franklinville, NJ, for Classic Engagements, they must be scheduled within an hour or so of Franklinville for travel fees not to apply.

"We were so honored to have Kristen be a part of our wedding day. Not only is she incredibly talented behind the camera, but she has the ability to keep you completely focused and calm despite all of the chaos going on around you on your wedding day.

Kristen is accommodating, understanding, professional and I can't begin to express how happy I was with the results."

"We get so many compliments on [our wedding and engagement photos] and the natural way she captured the love my husband and I have for each other.

She is so talented and she's given us the most beautiful photographs to remember our wedding day.

I cannot recommend her enough! Having beautiful photos to remember our wedding day was really important to us, and there is no better choice than Kristen with Petal & Glass!"

"..My husband was initially skeptical that a wedding photographer could capture the natural beauty of our wedding day, but he was immediately reassured when he met Kristen for our engagement photo session.

Kristen was always so calm, collected, and genuinely excited to do her job.

She portrayed the true essence of our wedding day because she was always present at the right times to capture our big moments without distracting anyone or drawing attention to herself.."

Rebecca & Daniel

"The photography aspect of the wedding planning had me frazzled and once I met with Kristen I immediately calmed down! I knew she was the right choice!
I was also very nervous about looking awkward in my pictures and she reassured me that it would be fine. And she was right! No awkward pictures! We LOVE how our photos turned out and I have no idea how to decide which ones to print.
Kristen made the entire process so fun by sending me little notes and reminders leading up to the big day. She is very professional and kind and I cannot express how grateful we are for our amazing pictures."

"Kristen was easy to work with, she was not overbearing, and it did not feel like anyone was taking photos at all--except she actually was there, taking beautiful snapshots of us with our family and friends while we were enjoying the moment.."
